    Sport Restoring The Laser

Don't matter so long as they both get done. If the stick is in the ARF stage I would say do it first.

Saito 61cc Four Stroke Gas Engine, NEW!

That looks purdy. I could build my Midwest cap 232 kit around that. That's a lot of cash for that size engine though.

She is all back together and purring like a kitten. Sitting at the tire shop to get the old girl some new shoes then off to get it inspected. Finally I can get back to RC related stuff.

Dual BuildNew PAU 35cc Edge and 35cc Extra

I have to agree with you there. I set up a profile on high voltage and the extra power was nice but the servos got so much faster that I had to dial in a bunch more expo to get them back to my liking. Just pulled the high voltage setup out and went back to a 6volt setup.

Working on the truck some more. Got the timing cover off and I'm glad I did. As you can see the timing belt isn't far from breaking. Got the new water pump installed and will do the timing belt in the morning as I gotta borrow a tool from work to get the harmonic balancer off.

New!! Great Planes 30cc Avistar Sport/Trainer

LOL at 5.07 this morning I was still at work. Got home at 7:20 and worked on it for 2 hours. Got more done on it than I planned to for the day so I was happy.

After digging in I went ahead and replaced the valve cover gasket. Thought it was leaking but upon remove the bolts that hold the valve cover down three of the four on the passenger side where only finger tight. Prolly could have just tightened them and fixed it but I already the gasket and was...

Yeah before I saw that I had already bought bearings to do both sides at once. Once I got down too it and found that and a F'ed brake rotor I just bought new rotors for both sides as well. Should have it on all fours again in the next couple of hours. Then to dig in and do the timing belt and...

In VA we have to pass a state inspection every year. One my truck I needed tires (knew I needed them, but was hoping it would pass and I could wait a couple more months) rear brakes passed but they needed to be done so I just did as they are cheap, and right front wheel bearing was shot. In the...

Found what I need. Not to muddy and only cost me $21. Score. New tires ordered up to $720 in parts for it and I still gotta get it re inspected and front end alignment since I'm pulling a spindle off. Over half of what I originally paid for the truck.

If I can't find it at a salvage yard today I will. I'm hopeful to find one though as I want my truck back. Got a brand new mojo40 that I just got rtf and without a truck it can't get to the field.

Yeah I know but I gotta do what I gotta do. It's a 96 ford ranger. Might call a local dealer and see if they still can get them.

Yeah well I just got back from the store. Between this morning and this evening I'm in it for $220 in parts and I still have to go to a junk yard tomorrow to get a spindle as the parts stores don't carry them. Should be fun busting ball joints loose in the mud.

Pretty much. This truck was the best $1400 I ever spent. This is the first major work I have had to do to it in 3 years and it's got close to 300,000 on the odometer.

Working on the pickup truck. Got my first ever rejection sticker when I went to get it inspected. I knew it needed tires but thought it might still pass. Wrong. Needed rear brakes as well and the right front wheel bearing was bad. Pulled the front hub off at home to replace the bearing only to...
