    3D Cbarnes 3D Slab Thread

Please do I would love to see it. Maybe I could be convinced to build a prototype. Plans for a 60 size nitro me thinks a 1.20 four stroke would be the cats meow. :-)

Do you have a full kit of the 65 or just the short kit. As much as I hate working nights it's great for my hobby. On my nights off I just go to the shop and play once the wife goes to bed.

Ok slight change to the fuse. My previous mojo was way tail heavy. I relocated the tail servo bay up one and will mount the servo as far forward in that bay as possible. This will give me the ability to move my flight battery to adjust the cg. Wing bottom is sheeted and wing is flipped over and...

Thin and medium ca through out. Tube will get glued in with loctite brand Go2Glue and the motor mount will be epoxied. They are not glued in in the picture just sitting there so everything gets framed correctly. I can't wait to cover this thing but it might be a little bit. Gotta be sure and...

Yup. 3/8" thick fuse with a 1/2" tube. If I don't repair my old one I plan to tear it down and salvage to tube out of it.

Start of the mojo. Most important part was to trace all the cut parts as I know I will need another at some point. I will get more pics tonight as I have the rudder stab and elevator all framed as well and the wing is ready for sheeting. Not as much as I wanted to get done today but it will have...

LOL thanks bud. When I get more room and money I will get to building more large planes but I do love me a good profile and I tell you what I'm to the point in covering planes that I'm still not the greatest at it but I do a pretty good job and covering has become one of my favorite parts of the...

    3D Cbarnes 3D Slab Thread

So since I'm constantly building profiles (slabs) I figured I needed to create a thread just for the slabs I build. I will be updating it with pics of my previous builds and will keep it going with all my new slab builds. First up on the new build side of things is a Mojo40 from Swanny House...

Don't use no stinking flight box. I just keep a couple spare plugs in my small toolbox. My starter I just put an EC3 connector on it like all my lipos and just use and extra one to run it. Fuel jug I just carry as is because as soon as I get home it gets put away by itself in a cool dark place...

    Angle gauges

Yup I have a couple of those. Never thought of using them for checking throws. I bought them as a multipurpose tool really though. I can use them when setting the incidence on the wings of a new plane but more importantly I use them when bending conduit at work. Far more accurate and precise...

Never messed with any YS engines. For me it's gonna be either the OS 46 or 55 ax series engines with a dollar tree can muffler screwed on the end of a macs header.

The 'What did you do in your workshop tonight?' thread

Thanks. I'm thinking I need to start my own thread though dedicated to the slabs I build.

I like screw screaming piped two stroke nitro motors. They make me all warm and giggly every time I gun the throttle.
