Had a chance this morning to relocate the reciever and the antena location. This is what I did.

Were the wires bundled like that during the first lock out? If it happens again, I would try rerouting the wires so that they aren't in a bundle.

The bundeled wires are for the smoke pump. They are not hooked up to the receiver. They are just there.

Good news. Had a whole flight with no glitch or lockout. I could only make one flight today cause the guys in the club needed help and I spent my time doing that. I'll try and confirm things on Thursday, weather permitting.

The Orange and Black must be working just fine. Two more flights today no glitches.:winking-thumbs-up-s



Conclusion. The problem must have been the smart fly to begin with.



PS: It was sure nice to get back to doing Pop Tops.

What Smartfly were you using?

Looking back into tty he pages and I don't see any power expander.



I am using a Smartfly EQ6 Turbo with the Futaba R617FS in two 40%ers.

One in my Hangar 9 Sukhoi and my PAU Edge.

Note on both planes that I run my antennas away from wing tube and 90 degrees from each other.

100% glitch free since day one ( years )
