Soon as we get back to the flight line hopper throws a pack in another plane and hands me the controls. At least somebody still trusts me. Another 30 minutes or so of crash free flying before the wife called us in for dinner. All in all it was a great day of flying. Espeacially for 25 degrees!

Most adhesives are foam safe. The multiplex planes require regular C/A or P.U.like gorrilla for example (as you may know). lots of different foams out there. hopper used foam-tac I believe. Some epp "painted" with it and 2 pieces of carbon rod. Then 2 rods across the battery tray to insure the tray (glued from the factory) does not eject again. It amazes me how good foam can fly.

Nice work! Gotta love the foam safe adhesives! What did you use CA or Gorilla?

hey 3dMike, as Dr. Gonzo said, I used Foam-Tac. It holds tight and retains its flexibility. I love that stuff. If it gets on your fingers, you can rub them together and it comes right off. It doesn't have the fumes that foam safe CA does. It doesn't dry fast though. 24 hour to fully cure so not an option for fast repairs. It does have a quick tack if you coat both pieces, push them together, pull them apart, wait a few seconds and put them back together. Like contact cement. Dries clear. I got it from West Michigan Park Flyers.com
