New to GSN!
Hope this is the right place for this. I am very new to 3d. I'm coming over from the helicopter side of the hobby and was wondering if anyone would recommend the stunt master as a first 3d plane. I have flown the parkmaster in realflight 7 with good luck. How does the stunt master compare to the parkmaster? Any advice would be greatly helpful.

Only downside I can see Flyboy is that the stuntmaster will not hold up as well to crash's or mistakes (which happen allot while learning) as some of the tuffer 3D foamys do, for example a Telink or some of the Twisted models will hold up better under fire than the multiplex

saying that though it is not a weak model and if you can fly the parkmaster in RF 7 with ease then the stunt might be a good way to go.

I just got my Stuntmaster, and hope to build it this weekend. I'll do a build thread on the site. I like how everything comes almost ready, just a quick build needed.

So far, it looks like an awesome kit, and while it's a different type-density foam than some other popular 3D foamies, I think it'll hold up well and still be repairable after a crash.

I won a stuntmaster at monsterfest in eugene. It builds out quick and flys great. The hardware is a little cheesy so be carefull when installing the controll rods and I had a tough landing and messed up the landing gear a bit. Probably should of used gorilla glue to begin with on the landing gear as now its rock solid.
I had it in 10-15mph winds and it flew decent. I'd recommend it for sure.

I m looking forward to the build thread GYRO. I just ordered a stunt master today and there seems to be a lack of builds and reviews on it. BBCorvette18 is there any other part that you would use gorilla glue on?

Nope everything else feels good with just the foam safe CA. If I didn't have the rough landing that mushed the landing gear and then still flew 7 or 8 packs through it before actually repairing it foam safe probably would of worked. The multiple rough landings tore it up pretty good so I used the gorrilla glue so it would expand and fill the gaps. It worked too good lol. Im not much of a build thread guy but its a straightforward build. If ya sit down ready to rock its built in 30-45 minutes.

There are two foam tabs in the battery hatch that lasted me a few days before I broke them out. I actually prefer them gone its easier to fit everything.

I thought Epalor the material used in MPX models didnt work with foam safe CA and you had to use regular CA?
