Bowman ring ordered
Ordered 4/5565 & 1/5665 servos
Putting in a redwing order for power expander misc fuel stuff servo extensions
Ordering 2x 2600lipos from buddyrc
Then need to order a prop and spinner

I've just finishing installing some new Hitec HS-5585MH servos in mine. Maybe a little overkill on the torque, but they're really nice servos

Was wondering does the jtec add or subtract to the power I know it makes it a lil quieter

I know the jtec large pitts style take away some RPMs in exchange for some sound suppression. They are still no canister. The best power you are going to get without a pipe is a side dump.

I went through 4 mufflers on my OS GT60 last season, and the best power was this.

This is your choice other than the stock muffler.

You use pitts style mainly for form factor and looks. Dave, the owner of DA told me that for the DA-35, the pitts was actually the best performance, but both him and I were surprised by this fact.

Anyone got pictures of the dle30 mounting holes on the velox box seems awfully close to port side. Also did anyone beef up meaning add another layer of ply to inside to fill the 3/8" firewall recommendation of the dle 30? I'm guessing I need to center the mounting on the cross hairs on box and the rear carb engine after shortening standoffs 1/4" will be sitting pretty staring at the gas cap!

One more thing how much of the bottom edge of cowl do you need to cut for canopy to fit?? Seems like entire bottom edge and around the corners needs to be removed. As mine sits flush with canopy

I'm away from my plane and can't get you a picture until this weekend, however it's only about 1/3rd of an inch.

Here is a picture of my cowl. I had to cut quite a bit to get it to fit. Sure do wish 3dhs would make the mold about 2mm larger for these cowls so that they would fit properly. I'll stick the link
