I use Pulse in my Helis and they work really good. However I think a bit over priced.

What prop? You can prop that motor wind up to about 3100 watts with a 21 X 8. I run a 216 kV with a 20x8 to 3100 watts on an 80" sport plane. You may not need that much power as it will cut in to flight time, but it is there.

have you used the Pulse batteries before? if so, what is your opinion of them?

This is the first plane where I went with all Pulse, and so far I love 'em! I have a 3DHS 92" Edge going together, and I bought 3 more 2550 Rx packs that I'll use with a Spektrum AR-9110. And I also picked up 2 Pulse 6S-5500mAh Lipos to use for the 12S setup. Should be pretty rockin'! I went with all 65C Lipos for excellent burst power! Very nice batteries!

I metered it at around 3000 watts on a 20x10.

I just flew my 78 Extra with the same 4330-206 with a 20x10 today. With the Revo 435 blend I ran it up to 3300 Watts.

And how did do @ 3300 Watts?

The batteries charge up to 4.35v /cell. They held up to 3.85v at 73amps at WOT static.
