Great news.....you will be the go to guy when I have questions.....can't wait to get my hands on mine......
Ask away. If you've built any 3dhs planes before this one is no different. Only thing that gave me more of a fit than normal was installing the rudder hinge pin. What I ended up doing was polishing it with some emory cloth and coating it with a light oil to help push it into place.
Other thing I noticed is I had a hard time with was the canopy. It shipped without any screws holding it down so it was slightly warped when I received it and I couldn't even come close to getting the screws in. I ended up taping it down (cause it had to sit for for 6 weeks before I had time to mess with it) and was able to eventually get the screws in. I've just made sure to keep screws in anytime I'm not working on it and it has retained its shape.
Let's see, the wheel pants/stock axles/wheels didn't really work out the way they normally do either. I ended up just getting some 1/4-20 bolts to use as axles and spaced the wheel out to the correct spot with nylon washers...I kinda started doing that on alot of my planes anyways cause its easier and doesn't break like some of the axles that usually come with the arfs.
