Yeah, luckily none of the trees fell on my house.
I think this is going to take longer than a day to clean up.
looks like you have plenty to keep yourself busy since school is closed

Well while your at it. cut a few more down to make a nice flying area
I'm glad we're on the other side of the state. It's a shame to lose precious evergreens. Also glad to not have any trees that can fall on the house anymore. Our neighbor had two 70 foot poplar trees that have been since cut down. Either of our houses were fair game for them. When Ike came he literally stood on his porch as they were almost breaking, as if he were saying, "If the house goes, then I'm going to". We had power out for two days when a large tree on the next block was blown down from the initial Ike front coming in. Sandy finally pushed me to finish my generator wiring, remembering the last outage.Yeah, luckily none of the trees fell on my house.
LOL, If I could take out a tree or so, then I'd almost have a perfect field out back for small planes. Problem is I don't think I can take out the lousy power lines that just happen to run across our portion of the large, flat undeveloped area of the block. I flew a small Pitts back there recently with almost no flight time on it, which was a mistake. Got really lucky to just miss the lines and a tree.Well while your at it. cut a few more down to make a nice flying area
