The above is the last batch, I don't know what I'm still doing up after watching all the fun and games last night! And then getting woken up by my son at 5am :crying:.

Again thanks for the great time and a special thanks to Moose and Mrs Moose for keeping my son out of the corn field :) And also the family in pic 208 who's names I can't remember right now that Billy started following around.

Patrick and I and all 16.5 (picked up that used VR1) of the planes made it home OK on the questionable New England roads. We both had a wonderful time. I know Gary has the video files for the contest finals so I suspect they will be up later in the week. I now also get to add RC combat DJ to my resume, thanks Glenn!

I've had a chance to digest things a little bit now and I just want to say what an awesome event this is. If you've never been to the NJ FLI and are anywhere near NJ, you need to start planning for next year already! I saw some amazing flying, did a fair amount of (less amazing) flying myself, met old friends and made a lot of new ones. What made the biggest impression on me, I think, was the warm camaraderie when this wonderful community comes together. You need help with something, and within a minute you have a couple of people offering their skills.

Also, tons of compliments to Glenn, who made everything run smoothly and put on a pilot's dinner that I think is going to be extremely difficult for anyone to top. I'm really proud to be part of GCA! Also, thanks to the 3DHS team for making this possible!

Got home late last night and I have to say that this event is now one of my favorite of the year. Great flying, friends, fun, and food. You guys rock.
