3D 41% Krill extra 330sc

Hi Guys

I thought I would try and keep these threads alive. they offer some great info not only for krill models but others as well.

this is may latest build. Its a 33o SC painted in the RedBull scheme endorsed to me by Martin Sonka the owner of the full size and RedBull. the model is all painted by myself and the only decals on her are my sponsor logos on the underside of the stabs and the registration markings on the bottom of the rudder.

Her setup is as follows

MVVS190CN
JMB canisters
Mejzlik 30x13 3blade spinning @ 56oo on this setup
Powerbox Champion SRS with Pbus system and smoke pump
Hitec 7990 servos all round, 3per Ail, 2 per elev and 2 on rudder.
Secraft Hardware
MT graphics and smoke Oil.

she was a real labour of love to build. The paintwork took 4 weeks flat out after work
the assembly was quick as Ive had my fair share of Krills now.
I did decide to modify the firewall myself even though krill do offer this as an option. it was a bit tricky and was very please when the firewall measured 0' once done.

This model was on display at the RedBull Air race in Ascot in the UK this year and I was extremely fortunate to be invited and as an added bonus get Martin Sonka to autograph the extra on a special plate I made on the inside. this is by far the Best straight, sweet sounding smoothest machine I have ever flown. Theres just simply something special about running the Quad and with the direct drive on the rudder servos the plane just feels extremely positive on the sticks and silky smooth! maybe those hitec 7990's have got something to do with that...the MVVS190 mejzlik 30x13 3blade prop and JMB cans make this the quietest 40%er I've ever heard.... .well enjoy the pics..... they may not be in order but they give you an idea...
