I just did one side which is what I also did for Blenderm and never noticed junk catching there.Sounds like the easiest method yet. I use ultra cote and just cut a thin strip (3/4"?) and lay it into the gap, then seal from one end to the other with a trim iron. It works well as well, but you need ultra cote and a trim iron. With Ohio's idea...you need a $2 roll of packing tape and a pair of scissors (ok...AND an xacto knife )

Do you lay a strip on the other side to prevent the tacky side from picking up dust/dirt?
