I have 6 on mine now and totally agree with you guys. I do like the cg back more and now that I have it there KE flight require no elevator to keep it straight. I am slowly working my expo down because I started at the manual setting. On my 60" Edge I did the same thing until I found my sweet spot. For some reason for me it more the rudder affected by it for the hovers. I like a quick response there. I can't believe how easy this is to land, talk about grease in.

Yeah I have cg at back of wing tube and it is still slightly nose heavy I will try moving a bit farther back to see but I am very close

I copied my expos and throws from my edge. Had to decrease my expo on the elevator and had to decrease the throw on my mid 3d rate for the ailerons. I am getting very close to nirvana!

Only got one flight on the Laser today, but had a blast. Pop tops were awesome, harriers were simple, and I had a blast. Great airplane. CG was aft of wing tub, just a pinch forward of dead neutral. Looking forward to bringing it home!

I am not really sure where mine balances now but I went with the manuals starting suggestion of on the wing tube which was very easy to do. Then I just started moving back the pack each flight. I am guessing the battery moved back 5/8" from where I had it on the first flight.

If anyone is interested I added more pictures of my cockpit install. Several have PM'd me with some questions on how to do this. Pretty easy and lots of eye candy.

So you might not need that Edge after all :) That's what I am thinking at least for now.

Has anyone tried flying this yet without the SFG's? I will after a while. As I am doing a standoff scale on mine of Leo's plane I might want to add the look of his wing tip smoke system.

do you have your ailerons sealed? I didn't like them sealed on my MXS but I still had them on the rudder and elevator
