Aerobeez 48" Extra 330 EPP Full Fuse

Here's the Aerobeez 48" Extra 330 that we have all come to love and now in a couple new schemes!

Description:

When it comes to 3D aerobatic performance, Extra never disappoints. So we decided to put this aerobatic model on our EPP airframe with a full fuse plywood construction and give it our personal tweak. The result is a feather light, yet durable 3D machine that will take you to a whole new level of 3D flights.

This model will be your everyday 3D trainer, something you could take with you wherever you go. Yet it will provide you with the capability to practice moves that normally only bigger planes can handle. If you are new to 3D flying this will get you ready for something bigger in a lot less time.

However, you don't have to be a hardcore 3D pilot to enjoy this plane. This plane can be as mild as you want it to be. Just dial down the throws and add some expo and it would fly like a trainer with very smooth responses. You can also set up dual rates to switch back and forth sport and 3D flyings according to your mood.

We have gone through multiple prototypes before final production to ensure the plane would provide the best performance in any flight envelop.

Aerobeez owns the design rights and is the exclusive distributor of this model.

It's been a long wait and it's finally coming. Are you ready?

It's a good looking scheme! Like I've said many times before... I love my Sbach but I do wish i had the Extra. The Sbach is floaty and flies like a big gasser which is awesome for practicing tricks down on the deck. Let us know if you get it!

They look cool, but I don't understand the cross breeding between balsa and EPP. EPP is desirable for it's durability and ability to take abuse, but I don't see that happing with a balsa skeleton.

I thought that too for a long time, "what's the point?" That was before I owned one. They are not durable like an EPP profile plane but they are much more durable than a monocoat covered balsa plane. I can toss one of these in the back of the car and toss the wings in on top with any worry about damage. They don't fly quite as good as a true balsa plane but I'd say it's 80-90% as good with far less maintenance.

Having said that I destroyed my Aerobeez 48 Extra (the orginal green one) yesterday. KE too low caught a wingtip and carwheeled it, broke all the internal structure. It's okay though gave me a chance to buy the sweet looking sky blue model.
