Aeroplusrc yak 55 50cc

I have 16 of the XQ 4020 servos in several of my aerobatic birds and only had one right of the box not work correctly. It was replaced by MileHi Rc within 3 days with no questions asked. Also Mile Hi the 402o servos were only 40 bucks a pop. Super good customer service from them. I just ordered 2 more for my Yak 55 - same color scheme as this thread shows. I have the same plane. The only problem so far I have found is the canopy fit is crap. I have had to sand and cut to make it fit correctly on the fuse. I am going to run a DLE 55 on it and love the blue and yellow scheme. FYI I have well over 100 flights on the 4020 servo on my 30cc Aeroworks Extra 260 without any problems. Knock on wood I am going out today to fly and I hope my statements here don't bite me in the rear and have any problems with the servos.

I was also wondering what is a good cg point on the Yak 55 just starting to put mine together and the manual isn't real good and wanted some opinions on the cg. Thanks

33%RMC (little nose heavy) -25%RMC ( Little tail heavy). You will actually have to fly the plane to see where you like it best.

I always measure the chord at center datum on any plane to find the cg range.

Ok what i need to know is a good cg for general flying on the wing tube , aft or forward of wing tube . Thanks for your reply

"If" you are positive the cg range is across the wing tube then Balance it forward (nose heavy) for general flying. I have had a few China ARF's where the actual cg was way forward and way aft (at least 1 inch) of the wing tube. Those examples would be Pilot and Peak Models. Just trying to help.

Mine is balanced at the back side of the wing tube. This makes it slightly tail heavy for 3d I would say middle of the wing tube and adjust from there myself
