SAD SAD news in the RC world today as Rocco and Sandy decide to shut the doors on AeroWorks! This came to me as a surprise as I'm sure it does to all of you! AeroWorks products were world known for their quick build ARFs as well as their outstanding build workmanship. I had the chance to visit Aeroworks back in 2010 while I was in Colorado. They opened their doors and welcomed me in, as well as showed me around. Every member there was nice as family. I, as well as MANY others, are heart broken to see this company come to an end.

Here is what they had to say....

AEROWORKS CLOSING!

It has been over 25 years that Aeroworks has been involved in the RC airplane industry. Aeroworks takes great pride in all that we have accomplished through our designs, event sponsorships, RC pilot sponsorships, dealer relationships and most importantly all the RC pilots we have come to know around the world. The time has come for Aeroworks to say goodbye as we move on to new endeavors. Aeroworks will be closing effective October 28, 2016. We want to personally say Thank You to everyone that has supported Aeroworks throughout the years and we will treasure the time we have shared with all of you.

Warmest Regards,

Rocco and Sandy
Aeroworks

Sad Sad day for sure! But, best regards on their new adventures.

In honor of AeroWorks and their many years of producing some of the TOP of the line quality airplanes, let's remember them by showing off their beautiful product right here on GSN!

here are a few Aeroworks planes my son and I have had. I am now putting together my new Ultimate 150cc with a DLE 222 in it. I have wanted this plane for a long time, glad I got ahold of it before this all happened.

Sad....absolutely yes.
A surprise....absolutely not.
I seen this coming when the continued excuse for the lack of available airframes was blamed on a dock worker strike that was resolved 2 years ago.
I sensed a cash flow issue for quite a while.
Again... a very sad day for our hobby.
Best wishes of future endeavors to Rocco and Sandy.
