Aeroworks Extra 300-100cc-QB

Hi Everyone
First Giant scale plane picked up because of the price, I know nothing about Giant scale planes! Curious how pilots feel about this particular aircraft. Thank You for sharing your thoughts.

Lucky alright! It was an offer I couldn't refuse! What is the reputation of this particular airplane? I know nothing about it.

From what I have read, never owned one (yet), they are a sweet plane, light for their size, and from video can be mild or wild depending on set-up.

Never heard anything bad about them. Aeroworks is a top notch company and I'm sure it will fly great. I have the 50cc size in the same plane and it flies great. Set it up correctly and I'm sure you'll love it.

So set up is the cg and the surface deflections (low/high rates/3d rates)?

Yep! More deflection more extreme. For my flying ability and comfort I usually end up with my high rate's being the kit recommended low rate.

I have one (the yellow one), is a very good precision and 3D plane.
This one has about 4-5 years and it still flies OK.
It´s set with an old DA100 with RE2 pipes and performance is very good with deflections as the instruction manual and is enough

Here is one of the best in the world "Joe Smith" flying the Yellow Extra 300 100cc

I also have also had a couple AeroWorks products and you can not beat them...They are a little on the heavy side, but they are very strong models. I will take the weight for the added strength that you get from it.
