Here is the info I just read from ABC news.
Some lawsuits were filed by the AMA, UAS America, SkyPan International Inc., FPV Manuals LLC. They argued that the FAA's policy would impede many legal activities, from hobby use to research and development, as well as innovation. Basically, this is the first step towards fighting the FAA's position and how they are choosing to interpret the laws.
I am happy to see this. I believe the FAA will be forced to finally develop legitimate programs that allow people to commercial use UAV's as well as use them in General Aviation. Times are changing boys, times are a changin...!
