Day 2 was even busier than the first. Twice as many people and with 500 booths sold out in advance (plus the swap meet) there was plenty to try and take in. Flying solo at my booth proved to be challenging on its own but here's a few more pics of from when I did get to sneak out. Today I took a little time to check out new products that 1: were cool tech I haven't seen before and 2: always wanted to see in person.
Let's start off with some Desert Aircraft awesomeness! Got up close and personal with a DA70 with their new 2 in 1! Also got handsy with the DA200-L, DA200-M, and the elusive DA100-I. After watching a Youtube clip of the 100I last night, I kind of need to have one...
EPP Hyrbids from Aerobeez: New colors/schemes/sizes and all super reinforced for high energy flying! All due in March, check them out then. The grey/yellow is their new 55" for the guy that needs a little more plane in the hybrid category. Also a cool rack of PopWings from Nitro Planes.
Big EDF's from Banana Hobby. Big is an understatement as these monsters took about 5 tables to display!
Jim from XPS answered every question I've ever had on his 10 channel boards. Can't understand why I haven't tried this sooner as it's a painfully simple but robust system for powering up to 10 channels. I left with one so stay tuned to see how it goes for me, I have a feeling it's gonna be a game changer...
I'm strangely obsessed with these Pilatus Porters. Two sizes with crazy scale interiors, what's not to love!
Last but not least, here's a few more of the scale masterpieces brought out for static display that I missed yesterday:
Also great to see Team Spats in the house, Dave Sullivan, AJ, Kevin from J-Tec and Pete from Aerobeez! One day left so more pics to follow tomorrow.
SupaTim, over and out!
