I was happy to donate them and now time for me to get into the shop to start churning out some more. I think I got 5 sets total to make including one set for a buddy who I sent a set to in Oregon and they never showed up.

Yeah it sucks cause it is s little money lost on the sale but I still want the customer to be happy.

Sanding 101 - "Wax on, Wax off"

So I started working on the blocks that others have ordered last night. Didn't get a recent pic before I left my shop but they are all cut have the holes drilled and about half of them have been sanded smooth and had the studs installed.
I didn't have enough finish milled oak that I had gotten from lowes to make these from. No worries the last pic shows what I started with to get what I needed. It was a 4-1/2' long 3x4 rough cut piece of oak we use at work to stack steel bars. After about 10 minutes worth of work on the planer and table saw I had it into three nice slabs ready to make product from. Was actually fun taking a rough cut piece of lumber and turning it into something pretty.
