Power will be a 2004 model 3W 106 TOC twin spark!! It'll have a pair of 6V RCExl ignitions on it for spark. I just got the engine today, and decided that this would go on this airplane. So, I had the firewall marked via the plans. Knocked 4 holes in the firewall and installed the blind nuts.

Will have a few y harnesses to make for the ignitions, so nothing new there. I will regulate 2S LiPo via a CC BEC. Been using them for years as throttle servo regulators, just add in a signal wire on the male side.

Not much more to report on as far as progress, as I sheeted the hatch on my D300. Slow progress, but progress is progress! :)

Another nice build/rebuild thread added to my list! It keeps growing here on GSN :dancing-chicken::dancing-chicken::dancing-chicken:

I don't think it is great, but its ok. The previous rebuild was much better than this one. Even had the killer paint job on the cowl. But I think this one will not have the tear away sky scheme painted on it, unless someone would like to take that on, once I get the white base and some Red to Copper HoK stripes on it. My buddy up in VT, Scotty Lyons did the last one for me. I don't think he is flying much anymore, I could be wrong.....

But as said before, this airplane will be a special day flyer. No high energy 3D, but it will rock out on the old school 3D like no tomorrow!
