Had a couple of sessions with Covering on the tail of the Camel. Went to Muncie to fly with Bill Gentry in between . I didn't get my plane out. I thought it was to cold. Did hang around and help Bill with his Jet.

I spent the afternoon in the shop. It was my choice. To windy to fly and now its raining.
Got the plastic and Fiber Glass parts primered with etching primer. Finished covering the elevators and covered the lower wing.

Finished covering the fuse. Ran short on covering. I was going to to use coverite all the way to the front but had to revert to the original and more scale plan. I spliced the covering on both sides at the leading Edge of the stab. Can't even tell unless you are looking for a needle in a haystack.
Had some paint mixed up for the blue off of the roundel stickers. They couldn't match it exactly unless I bought a Gallon of paint. So I got the closest I could. I like brush painting the WWI planes however the front of the plane is going to get airbrushed to keep the weight down. After a year and a half of looking at wood. It's nice to finally get some color on the plane.
