Cool Bob Nelitz own built PA-18

Hey guys, new guy here posting since I see the most current interest regarding Bob Nelitz in a build thread here on giantscalenews.

I came into possession of Bob Nelitz’ own built Super Cub just over 2 years ago off a member on rccanada. Bob built this in the 90’s and it has flown up until a few years ago, I haven’t flown it myself. I have contemplated selling it to the right person for the right price at this point and I’m posting it here and possibly other forums looking for any interest in the airplane. Below are pictures of it which don’t show any cosmetic issues which I would discuss with anyone interested. I’m just putting it out there to get a feel of any interest it might gather.

Very nice nelitz indeed. Looks much much better than my Sig J-3. What's under the hood of that beauty?

Built by the one and only himself. I know of a few more of his airplanes at a small airport owned by a couple of guys. Nelitz’ airplanes are as good as Graeme Mears. He told me he learned a lot from Nelitz.

It’s a 3w70 twin with a custom tank that doubles as a mount just behind it.

I do remember when Dave Patrick and Graeme Mears won Top Gun with theirs. Thanks for sharing his "own" personal one!

Wow! That is museum quality, I'm not afraid to fly much, but I think I would be afraid to fly that! Beautiful.
