Club 40 Racing? (Yes, I know they're not Giants)

The club 40 racing looks like a blast. Years ago at my old club we raced .10 powered planes. The rules were everyone ran the same stock O.S. .10FP with the stock muffler and club fuel. Any airframe and prop you wanted. I still have the scratch built plane I raced. I just converted it to electric last year. It's a lot faster now than it was back then.

We flew a 400' two pylon course from the inside. It was a rush. trying to go fast, turn left, fly smooth, not crash into anyone, not cut and not get dizzy and fall down.;)

40% happier than most folks.
Ill tell ya, last weekend, problems with my plane, problems with buddys plane, buddy busts out 15.00 yard sale revamped trainer and spent couple hours just relaxing, doing touch n goes and goofing off. Was a blast getting back to basics and playing with a slimer again. Made me want to do it more.

Cool.

I'd like to hear what you think of that EVO gasser. From what I've read they still get slimy because you have to mix the fuel 20:1 or something like that.
20 to one is the break in mix for the first gallon and then a 32 to one mix after that. They still have the sound of a glow engine, so does the 15. Now I see they have updated the 15 with a V2 and have changed the carb, and are running a pulse line from the crankcase to the carb and got rid of the muffler pressure line. the new carb arrangement is more like a walbro carb
