This weekend was a blast as a matter of fact the whole last week.
Met with great new friends and all cause of IMAC.
After meeting with Tom Davis at the Worlds we talked about coming to the UK to visit them and participate in a local IMAC contest.
I didn't came with much, just my suitcase.
Tom arranged one of his Carden 118" with DA 170 on RE2 bind and ready to fly. All I did was to replace the right stick for a better feeling and did some SPS mixes.
I had 3 days to fly the unlimited class before the contest to have more stick time and experience with that new plane and TX but the plane flew awesome with a lot of power so I got only good things to say.
The contest took place in north of Wales near a town call RHYL.
The weather as a normal English weather was cold cloudy and with some showers but there is nothing like flying in a 25mil/h wind.
We did 7 known seq 1 unknown and 1 freestyle.
For me it was the first ever unlimited class contest so it was a very good experience.
No doubt that it was just awesome to be in the field for 3 days and just fly and hanging out with a very good company.
Thomas and Steve flew very good and it was a true contest.
I want to thank Tom and all the other pilots for a great time.
We've tried the new software from AU that combine IPad with the score software you just scribe your scores to the iPad and than you transform it thru wifi to the score program. That can save you up to 2 hours of scribing and managing the scores.

See you next year in the IMAC UK NATs. 2016.
Thanks
