IMAC Delro Raven 3.1M build

I'm getting started on my Delro Raven kit. This is my first attempt at a build. It will be set up for imac. The flight surfaces are already sheeted and flight surfaces cut. I've built the servo boxes and already have my first question. From the servo box top to the servo mounting block is 10mm. This seems a little deep to me. Does anybody have a measurement for this?

The box is a little deep for the servo. Possibly it is over sized so that they could be sanded down to match the bottom sheeting of the wing??

I agree. It will fit without sanding but I think I'm going to shoot for 5-6mm depth. Still haven't decided on what glue I'm going to use to secure them in the wing.
