Ankeny is the closest town with hotels to our field, about a ten minute drive or so. Also there are many restaurants and shopping as well.

Reservations made, will be there late Thursday afternoon. I assume chamber of commerce weather has been requested in advance! Long range is looking good so far.



If anyone going is interested I have a Prototype Viper-ST that I am looking to sell, empty (no engine / electronics etc.) It is my orange 100cc, designed as a plane to get 35% DA120 type performance with cost effective 100 / 111cc engines. Has about 50-60 flights on it. Comes with J&J Tailwheel, carbon gear and Robart wheel or similar. No rash, clean mean. $700 takes it. Please PM me if you are interested, otherwise I may not bring it!!! Hate to put a link to "that other place", but I did a pretty extensive build over there. 2013 Corn Huck Fest Bad ASS Airplane award winner. Awesome airplane, I wish I could buy it just can't swing it right now. Somebody is going to get a really great plane.
