New to GSN!
Here two videos of a plane that is one of my favorites. Build from a mate of mine in 2010 for the memorial day on which a co-worker of Mr. Etrich named Karl Illner flew a new distance record and the landing spot at that time was near our home-town. So on the memorial day (100 years after) this rc-model flew and landed on the same spot Karl Illner did 100years before.
The build started two years before and of course the maiden flight was some month before the (small) air-show.
And here yet another flight
The plane is about 2m in lenght, 3m wingspan, 8kg of weight and has a 26ccm motor. Elevator and aileron are scale, so the only "deform" under the pulling of the ropes.
To me this is the most exciting plane ever build and flown in our local club, also it was the one with the longest build (and preparation of the build) phase.
best regards
Ferdinand
