I had a blast flying the new Extreme Flight 60" Yak 54 EXP in Knoxville last week. I am very impressed with this airplane! It tumbles as good as any other 60" EXP and flies precision with ease! It also flies very light and controlled in the 3D. The roll rate is amazing on this thing!
t's an incredible all around machine! I love the color scheme as well and it presents very well in the air, and as you can see it looks very good at night too! It's good to see that the classic EF Yak is coming back! Here is the setup that Chris had:

Motor- Torque 4016T/500 MKII
ESC- Airboss 80 amp Elite esc
Servos- Hitec 7245s
Prop- Xoar 16x7

The airframe will be released soon at www.extremeflightrc.com
Enjoy!

Alex Campbell flying his 60, not bad for a 4s set up :)

I had too much fun with my Yak and ground the top off the rudder completely off on the runway! The plane is just way to easy to get crazy with..... in fact, so easy that you forget you can tear it up. Either that or I was having so much fun I didn't care. If course, now that I can't get a replacement rudder I care a lot, so when the parts come in I will fix the plane and be a lot more careful.

What an awesome vid doc!! How fun it is to watch your thrash that Yak low and slow then full power knife edge to inverted. Love it man!

Part of why I am not currently flying this plane is because it is way too easy to get crazy with it. I flew it around low and slow so much that I eventually ground the top of the rudder completely off. She is currently waiting for a replacement rudder, and I will sure be happy to get her back in the air.

Right in the first 10 seconds of the video I grind off about 1/4" of meat. I fixed that but our runway is so abrasive that it didn't take much to grind it back off. I'm going to be more careful when I get a new rudder.
