Extreme Flight Owners Thread

EF worked on the 104 Extra for over a year, so there will be a long wait for any new 100cc sized airframes. The 104 Extra rocks anyways. DA just shipped me back my motor, so hopefully mine will be back up by the end of the week.

Gents I need some input here...
91 or 104?
They both look insane but which one is more insane

Depends on power input buddy.

The 104" on Da120 is awesome, but the 91" is just as awesome but needs better power.

I recon the 91" on DA70 would be every bit as capable as the 104" on DA120.

Both will need serious servos though dude. Something greater then 30kg torque on each servo and as much as possible on the rudder.

Ive got those futaba thingys out of the big girl 30kg a pop apparently ill be basicly selling everything ( whats left ) to get a 104 and 120 and I dont want to lash another 2k on a 91 and 70 so it would be running my 60.

Go big Feral! I've never a more capable plane than a DA120 powered 104... So I got one.
Starting to build it in a few weeks.
Savox SV-1270tg all around except rudder, which gets a Savox SB-2231sg

I get asked that all the time. The 91 control surfaces are almost the same size as the 104 and it is of course smaller and lighter. The DA-120 is proportionally more powerful, but now that I have about 150 flights on the DA-60/RE2 it has great power, it is only slightly behind. Clearly the 91 with 1 servo per aileron needs the best servos you can find. Originally I had 7955's which were an epic fail, so they were replaced with Savox 2270's and it is much better but could still use a bit more. I would say that the 91 is 95% of the capability at 1/2 the cost and the reason I fly it so much is it is easier to transport, set up and fly.
