OK, so this will be the continuation of a build thread but I promise my next build will be on GSN.
OK, so I picked up this kit at the 2014 Cornhuck from Rick at Fibertech and also got to meet the designer Kevin Walker. I was also lucky enough to get a flight with one and I was pretty amazed, so I bit the bullet and started building. I've hit it pretty hard since I started it on July 15, and am hoping to wrap up covering and paint work this weekend.
I will post a few pics from the past few weeks and later today will continue with pics of the covering and painting this weekend.
First I have to say that Rick is a perfectionist and the quality of the CNC cut parts and the CNC cut foam on this kit is simply amazing. This is my first all stick built kit so I have learned a few things with the fuse and it's been a pleasure to build. We are looking forward to having it at the Council Bluffs labor day fun-fly in a couple weeks (maybe maiden, who knows), as well as the DesMoines Huck in Sept.
Check out the kit here.....building season is almost upon us (at least here in the midwest): http://www.fibertechnmore.com/index.php?crn=321&rn=958&action=show_detail
