Just got back from Friday at the 114th RC Aero. What a wonderful event and the hospitality and food provided made it great. It is always so good to see everyone from the forum and especially nice that the 3DHS gang was there. Spending time with them, asking questions and having them look your plane over both hearing suggestions and compliments was great. The highlight of my day was on my first flight of the season for my 87" Extra SHP and about half way in I hear this familiar voice and it's Ben standing next to me coaching me on, it was great.

Sorry to be quick but wanted to get some pics up and I am leaving town early tomorrow.

Gary got to maiden his new 87" Extra SHP after Joe first flew it to perfection. The green Extra is Capt. Roll's new plane that he also had his maiden with it. The blue 87" Extra is mine.

At little windy today, but we're all still flying, and taking tons of great photos.
The new Yak and Edge and drawing lots of looks, and the team pilots are wringing them out!

Here are a few photos. I got some really good shots. First, my 74" Edge and my kiddos. Then some shots of the new 3DHS 92" Yak 55 and 3DHS 92' Edge 540. The orange Edge has a Hacker Q80 as does the red Yak 55. Both on 12s and Joe flew the snot out of them!!!! I think the big Yak has my "New Wishlist" seal of approval.

I had a blast and it was great meeting everyone and seeing some old friends!

The event was great. It was nice to meet you all, and watch some great pilots throw it down. Hope to do it again next year.

Here's a video of Joe and Wamsy demoing the 3DHS 92" Yak 55's. Both pilots did a great job flying the prototypes in that wind, steady 10~12 gusting to 20. Joe was flying the Red one w/Hacker Q80 and Wamsy was on the Blue one w/DA60. I'm sure the Smith's and Gary will have some better ones soon. Enjoy!
