FPV Headtracker OMP Sbach

Well guys it is time to try something new for me. My friend did this and he is having a blast at the flying field. He equip his 48" plane with this setup and now I am working on equipping my 60" OMP Sbach. We hope to try to get formation FPV flying going after we get the hang of it! Still need to clean up the inside. Also need to make some fine adjustments so it doesn't time out to center when I move left and right.

That is truly BAD ASS! Now... take the next step and surround it with a pilot/helmet head that swivels along with it.

Not a bad idea! I am really wanting to set up my 50cc plane, but I want to start small first! And of course... I will have a spotter at all times while doing this that will be able to take it off if I were to lost video.

When it comes to FPV, this is more of what I had in mind. I wonder what flying a sequence using this is going to be like? Can't wait to see some flight videos.

Someone competed not too long ago via fpv in basic class I believe. I hope to test this setup this weekend. Need to make a few mods to it.

please correct me if I am wrong.... but isn't FPV illegal in the US at this time through the FAA clarifications...I HOPE I am wrong

If it was for fun then I would love to see them regulate it. When we do this flying though we have spotters at the flying field that are able to take it if we have a problem.
