Friday at the Toledo Show and the GSN/TNT Group Therapy Fly-in

Hey guys, Just got back to the room after a full day of expo'in and fun fly'in and man what a fun day! The expo was a bit different than most years due to a little power issue. Around 11:30am, there was none! A transformer blew and took out the entire expo center. The emergency lights came on, and most people were still around, but the show never gained its super packed feel it was starting to have in the morning. That was no problem for Bart and I as we were able to walk around and talk to the many friends, vendors and advertisers that help us out and support us. It was really nice to catch up with everyone.

At around five, we headed on over to the location of the Friday night GSN/TNT Group Therapy session and MAN did things pick up there! Over 250 pilots showed up and packed the joint! People were having a great time and a few even let Bart and I crash their planes. (SupertTim rules by the way, thanks for letting us structurally test your mini crack yak,) We gave away a ton of prized from all the awesome sponsors, Hobbico, Hitec, RC Logger, West Michigan Park Flyers, Pulse batteries and Redwing RC. And almost everyone that won a prize was a flyer, a young pilot or a very stoked expert.

I took plenty of pictures today and Bart has some. My USB cable decided today was a good day to no longer work, so I'll get those up tomorrow along with a lot more coming tomorrow. We will also be hitting the floor shooting video and speaking with everyone we can find. So stay tuned, we will have a ton of pics and video!

Also we booked the venue for next year and it's going to be bigger and better! So make plans of 2016!!

Pics from today at the expo and the indoor group therapy fun fly extravaganza

cool story....i didn't bother to pack an airplane for the indoor fun fly so I bought a Flyzone Inum for $35 at the show and brought it with me tonight. After a couple of flights we announced that if anyone wanted to fly it they could come up and a couple of the parents came up with their young sons and they got to fly it. One of the boys flew four or five short flights and twenty minutes later won one for himself from the prize table! He was really happy and he immediately charged the battery and flew it the rest of the evening.

and now for the photos...as sleepy said, the lights went out and the emergency lighting was very dim so we didn't get very many photos after the morning electrical event
