New 18-channel dual power lead RX is a reality as well. Word is production starts early summer with deliver in the fall.

14sg case 18mz screen! Looks like another 1200 dollar radio. Hopefully the street price here will be 800 or less.

Well 140,000 yen is about 1200 bucks which is better than $3000 for the 18mz...that's if I'm reading it right. I could handle that...

Given that the 14SG is $600 I think $800 might be a bit off the mark. From what I can tell this radio is closer to the 18MZ than the 14SG so that $1,100 number seems about right to me.

To me that's more down to earth price wise compared to the mz...I feel I got more than my money's worth with the 14SG...worth every penny..
