Proceed with caution; there are two very small (tiny and fragile) o-rings that seal the two bolts once you get the red anodized cap off the pump body.

I haven't found suitable replacements. I sent an email to Taildragger RC several weeks ago asking if there was a rebuild kit for the pump (o-rings and gear set) but never received a reply.

Mine is brand new, so I don't want to pop the screws.. Give me the dims on the seals, I have a awesome vendor up by me that might have them. If so, I will post info here for anyone needing them..

I like 'em "BIG"!
Just out of curiousity guys, I hear the pump TDRC sells is pretty much the ****. Anyone using any others? Curious of the longevity. Remember those glow (shudder) pumps we all use to buy? About a year is all they are good for.

Capt. roll.

So sorry I did not get back with you.. It totally blew past me as we were traveling to events and very busy.

I know that is not an excuse. However we are checking on the o-rings. In the mean-time please let me know what i can do for you for your issue. Thanks so much!

Ok... Had some down time for once.:)

I am out of stock on these pumps until early this next week.

I did take the liberty of taking the head off my personal pump.

I have been using it a lot for 1.5 years now. Did start to get a leak last time I was out. The (2) o-rings on the screws were fine. they are 2mm ID.

The 1 inch o-ring around the pump head membrane was off the seal. If you have a leak check there first.

That OR if anyone has issues send me an email or call and I will pay shipping and I will rebuild free of charge.

Just to let others know, Harbor Freight has a 180 pc Viton O ring assortment that comes in 18 different sizes for like 11 or 12 bucks.

There ya go:)

Easy enough for an o-ring size you need.

I do not recommend disassembly but if you do BE CAREFUL with the 2mm bolts from the pump motor housing to the pump head. They can strip.
