General question on what is the best way to sell a pair of Large DA Engines?

Hello all, I haven't flown anything in 10 plus years as life chores took over.
Recently had a friend that knew I did fly once that wanted me to help him sell a pair of Large Engines.
These are WAY larger then I was flying years ago and I haven't got a clue as to where or what would be the best place to list them for sale.
They look to be a DA-75 twin so I'm assuming a 150 size engine, never messed with a twin of any size.

Rick, that does indeed appear to be a DA150. As for age or use, that would be too difficult to guess. It does look as though it could have been used for some very unique application as the mufflers are not like anything we would use in the RC Hobby. Also not a norm, is the 3w air inlet snorkel. Not as unique as the mufflers, but very few use the "dub" inlet. On the back of the engine, you will probably find a serial number. You could give DA a call and give them the serial number. They possibly could give you some history or back ground on this engine. At any rate, a used DA150 usually will bring anywhere from 500.00 to 1000.00 dollars depending on age, use and overall condition. Possibly less, maybe more. You can list it for sale on many places on the internet. Right here on Giant Scale News would be a great place to start with. There are other sites as well. Just from the overall appearance of the engine, it looks as though the bolts are rusted. Chances are this engine has not been used in a very long time. There is also the option of sending the engine to DA for a complete "health" check up. They will be straight up with you.

This may not be right so don't flame me if I'm wrong: Several years ago I knew a guy who bought and sold DA and 3W 150 size engines that the government had purchased and used briefly. 3W would work on those engines but if the DA engines had a G next to the serial number I was told they would not work on them.

@Airwayman you 100% correct if it has G in the serial number DA will not touch it. It was used for some type of military use I believe and should not end up in the private sector.

Well an update of sorts.
I emailed DA and got a little info on the ss numbers.

Per DA's email

Those are economy versions of the DA150. They are built and sold for single flight stinger missile target drones. They have no warranty and we do not service them.

Rather then start a new thread .
IF I was looking to fire these up just to hear them kick over for a few seconds...
I'm assuming, premium chevron fuel and marvel mystery oil at 50:1 would suffice?

Edited to answer question #2 about what voltage the ignition needs.
Per DA's website, I finally found it searching.

For use on all twin cylinder and four cylinder DA engines. Input: 4.8 to 6 volt battery packs.
