    Welcome!

Glad to be a member

I'm from Buford Georgia and started flying model planes in Jamaica from 1978 to 1996. During that time I flew Glow, Gas and Ducted Fan aircrafts which include pattern planes and F1 racers. Four months ago I started flying again at the Georgia Model Aviators Club (GMAC) and is loving it all over again...... I'm hooked guys, the Planes, the technology and because I'm now living in the USA.... The availability of all the different types of planes and equipment. I'm back for good.....

I took break too, but only for a couple of years, and I was amazed by the new technology. Can't imagine the difference of 20 years!

Wow.... the difference is amazing. We didn't have ARF models.... We had to build what we fly from plans or a kit. The closest thing to an ARF was a Fiberglass Fuselage and foam core for wings and tail feathers. In the Eighties we had a line of .40cc kits called EZ models, I believe the ARF morphed from these kits. I owned and flew quite a few of those kits and they flew very well.

Forgive me for the Flashback ...... hey it's Throwback Thursday.....
