I bought a pair of Zurich sun glasses that fit over prescription glasses back in '03 or '04 at Joe Nall and have been using them since. I can pretty much look at the sun and not lose the plane (though, not recommended). Since they are so old they are a big and bulky style, but they work incredibly well. Mine look like this:

My dad has migrated from Zurich to Cocoons, which have a smaller profile but still fit over his prescription glasses. He also has a pair of amber ones for cloudy and low light days. I will say the amber ones were great on the day I tried them. http://www.cocoonseyewear.com/
