@AKNick do know of anyone that has one in the US and has it been flown.
Not personally. I've seen a couple people putting the engine in on the timber in social media sites, but I do not think they have flown yet.
im one of two guys flying gas in my area....

@AKNick what voltage do you have your IBec set at for the GP ignition.
On my GP76 I'm using a HV IBEC unregulated, so it's self regulated to 8V. I tried the tech aero with a 6.6v battery unregulated and it just showed what the input voltage was... so rest assured if it dips lower than 8V as the regulators just keep the it from over voltage.. I think the older GP ignitions had kick back issues with low voltage. So I just stick with HV.

Ok the engine ended up on my friends Faliant 30cc. Have about 10 flights on it and the engine is doing great up to now, starts good and runs good but it is still new. It does need a lot Of cooling. Exhaust is loud and noisy. Engine seems to have a lot of power but still to new and running a little on the rich side. Redline oil about 35 to one and 20-10 prop. Still taking it easy and just touching full power once in a while. A lot of black oil on the bottom of the plane. Up to this point it is a keeper.

Saw on the another site a guy said a 20x10 was a bit too much. It wasn't hitting it's top end but swung it well. He suggested try sticking with a 20x8 or 20x9.
I remember when the DA35 and DLE35RA came out and everyone was eager to try a bigger prop than the DLE30 used so they all were saying use a 20x9, now everyone is saying use the 20x8. So I'd imagine a Falcon 20x9 CF would be a winner on the 38... I'm still using the 20x9CF on my DA35s and like it... with the 38 only being 3cc's more I'm sure it would be just great.
