Just for interest sake how far are you from Shippensburg PA
Hey @Snoopy1,

I'm near Smithfield VA so I guess its about 6-7 hours on the road, but I may be wrong. Dang it, I've even got an older 3W 100 that would have been PERFECT for your bigger stick. Unfortunately, I don't think it would fit in my Durango. . . . . . . :(

Hey Guys,

As you can tell, I just changed the title of the thread. I've decided to just build the ARF like it is and save the Ultrastick tail and rudder for my AMR. Didn't get anything done today and its supposed to be good weather tomorrow so I will be spending the day out at te flying field. Stay tuned.

You may be right it is a tight fit in my mini van but I can get it in without having to remove the stabilizers.

You missed it because you were too busy making sure your Behemouth Extra 330 was ready. I can forgive you this time, just don't let it happen again. . . . . . . ;).
You've got my word. And you can take that to the bank! Not that you would need it. You work so much you're rolling in dough! LOL

Gosh,

It's hard to believe it has been almost 4 months since I last posted in my own thread. . . . . . . :face-palm:. I'm still sitting here trying to figure out where in the world summer went.:(. Our club had our annual Toys For Tots Fly-In last weekend and I was sitting with my Buddy who gave me my H9 260 and the subject turned to my T/F Jug. During our conversation, we were discussing idea for breaking in My Saito Radial and out of nowhere, my Buddy said "why don't you use your Monster Stick to break in the Saito?", to which I said, that's a darned good idea. The plane is perfect for this. The engine will be out in the open so it will run cooler. With no cowl, engine and carb adjustments will be a piece of cake and best of all, if I do end up with a dead stick or two, it will be no issue whatsoever with that big wing. . . . . . :big_yes:. My only concern is that once I put the engine on the Stick, I am not going to want to take it back off again. . . . .. Doing this will also set forth for one other change in my plans. Since it is very similar in weight to my 3Dub twin, it will be a simple switch when it is time to put my Jug together. Well fellas, sorry for no update about working on my plane, but it won't be as long as it has been before I will start to show some progress.

I am beat fellas, it's been a long week and I am tired. I will type at you fellas later. . . . . :sleepy:.
