I hope everyone had a good day. I celebrated the country's independence at the flying field. A beautiful day again. I'm planning on going tomorrow too. That will make three days in a row!

I might see you there tomorrow bro. Not 100% sure just yet though.

I didn't make it to the field today, but I did do some backyard huckin. The air was dead calm this evening. Picture perfect foamie weather so I had bust out the crack yak.

To give you an idea just how lousy the flying weather has been around here, the four flights I got in yesterday makes a total of 15 for the year with an airplane and I've got 3 with a helicopter. The weather here for the 3 day weekend has been great and I've been lucky enough to be able to take advantage of it. It sounds like it may get a little hot today, but after all the wind and rain for the last few months I'll take it.

Glad someone made it out to the flying field. Rained here all day, so I spent some quality time in the shop!

On the 4th we worked filming a parade in the AM, built a community garden in the afternoon and then filmed a concert and fireworks at night. Was in bed by 9:45pm. Got up today at 5:55am was on the bike at 6:45am 40 miles in and was home 9am. Pretty sweet weekend so far!

We hung out at a really cool block party a friend of ours threw. Coincidentally a guy that moved in down the street from me about a month ago was at the same party so I met him there lol. All the beer and whatever else you wanted to drink, TONS of food, and as many fireworks as three guys could light as fast as they could light for an hour, pretty good little 4th. Unfortunately no airplanes... I did install two aileron extensions in the Corsair though.
