I think the Cap 21 somehow came out of the planes Claude Piel designed in the 50s-60s. It was a French homebuilt 2 place side by side. It was kitted in the 70s at 40% by Hanger One Mf'g. in Montgomery, AL. They are long gone as is the kit designer, jerry Heeswick from CO. I found a very old kit, no plans but a thick build manual. Finally got a set of 40% plans through Australia, New Jersey and Connecticut. (Long story). Plane is built, finished, cockpit detailed but waiting for a new bubble canopy, (That's another long story). Found a used DA 100 twin to pull it. Hopefully the maiden flight will be before the end of this year.
