SlowHuck
Bling, bling for flying things.
I thought it best to move this discussion to it's own thread so as not clutter up the one where it was started and otherwise distract from the excellent work of David Kocjančič...
A highly technical dissertation of the technical considerations of this unique rudder control servo installation was initiated by Pistolero's comment regarding this complex, yet beautifully functional configuration David engineered for his scratch-built 50% Extra 330.

Warning! This discussion contains dissertations on sophisticated engineering and physics concepts that may overload less than adequately prepared minds. Education at the level of Masters or Phd is recommended for participation in this discussion. At the very least have a dictionary at the ready.
No kidding! While I really gotta hand it to David for the engineering of this (as well as the entire aircraft), why not just go with the 3 servos aligned in a row?
Because the opposing torsional duplicity results in a superior harmonic gestalt enabling sympathetic dimensional polarity between the low-level frequencies being distributed among the acute geometric tolerances demanded of this particular application of quantum theory.
Hmmmmm.... but Slowhuck....do you think the celestial harmonic resonance combined with the embryonic elasticity would have a “noise canceling” (for a better word) effect on the rotor wash vortex generated by the trans harmonic coupling effect?
Excellent observation! It does depend on the atmospheric dissonance created by the multiple morphemic properties that result from systolic and rhythmic oscillations created by said celestial harmonic resonance. On the other hand, when certain variabilities exist within an established range of embryonic elasticity, no rotor wash vortex could be accurately measured using current technology, so harmonic coupling is merely theoretical. BTW, the term “noise canceling” has lately fallen out of favor as a descriptor of this effect - it is more accurately referred to as "sonum elidentibus."
