Question? Hitec servo compare- mini vs micro

OK. Hopefully Tanner - @Xpress - can chime in here...

Looking at scratching out a non-electrified pattern ship and planning on servos. Not many high voltage low profile servos available out there. Mini/micro servos look to be promising. I have been using the Hitec HS-7245mh (1.2oz weight - 89in-oz) servos in an EF 60" Extra with huge surfaces with great success. So that is my first go to for aileron servos for a pattern plane. However, they are pretty tall and cannot be used in my current new-to-me pattern plane as the wing is too narrow.

More searching and it seems the D89mw (.84 oz weight) micro servo is now available - smaller and more torque (118in-oz) at the same speed! impressive! Those will fit in the slim wing I have as they are on par with the typical low-profile servo heights out there.

The $64,000 question is how will they both hold up in a non-electrified pattern ship? Will they get hammered by a YS or gas engine? Is one better over the other? How about centering and precision differences? Longevity? What y'all think?

I have used only one of these servos and it is solid and one powerful servo but they are around 100 dollars.

I like the SV-1260MG a little better than the MKS HV737, plus it's $25 cheaper. I have 1260's in the tail of a 60" slick, and 737's in the wings, I cannot notice a difference between the two in performance personally. But I'll keep buying the 1260's instead. I'm running 8V.

Also consider the SV-1250MG, it has the same specs as the D89MW, although slightly heavier and faster it's once again about $15 cheaper. I have them in my 84" TBM and they have been splendid servos. Running 8V.

Edit: More info - Looking at the insight v4 to do a proof of concept on a new construction technique - using 1/2" carbon fiber with aramid honeycomb panels to make up the fuse box structure. No crossmembers necessary and believe the panels are equivalent to balsa (have yet to weigh them to be sure, but damn they are light). The carbon panels are 4'x9' panels. I built an all composite full scale race boat with them back in the day, so I am familiar with the construction techniques. Since it is proof of concept, I am going to put my VVRC 40cc twin in it and still should be below the 5kg weight. The fun part will be figuring out the foam cutting process to make the wing, stab, etc. Actually, it will all be fun! haha

Edit: is the TBM a gas plane? If so, how are they holding up to the vibration?

I don't suggest micro or mini servos in glow/gas airplanes. The small surface mount components can't handle the vibrations and we often see them fail prematurely.
