How to make scale toggle switches

This may come under the heading of too much time on your hands...

While sitting in the shop "think building" we noticed the pile of pushrod scrap we could not bring ourselves throw away...so we chucked up a short piece of 4-40 in the drill press and got out a file and did a little creative experiment. Then the wire was bent slightly and inserted into a 2-56 jam nut. Not bad!

Glue will work, also have used silver solder.

I have used pop rivets. Cut the nail part off to the length you want for the toggle and then hammer it flat and sand it to shape and then drill your 1/8" hole and slide the pop rivet in. Easy peasy.
