The new Savage Bobber
is born from our company’s maturity, gleaned over many years experience in the construction of the Savage airplanes. In our continued commitment to the research of new formulas and innovations, ZLIN Aviation has decided to enter into a decidedly original dimension, an area up to now unexplored: the customization of the aircraft through the client’s expression of his own personality and originality, as applied to flight. Well-known concepts and methodologies used in the customization of motorcycles are, for the first time, applied to the world of light aircraft. So the pilot conceives his own aircraft, up to and beyond the options which up to the present were available.
The standard model Savage Bobber is an extremely valid choice for the client who is seeking a solid, reliable airplane which is easy to handle and to service. The guarantee of its reliability comes through sharing, with its older brother the Savage Classic, the wings, the empennage, the landing gear, the controls and the fuselage, which has been narrowed only slightly. The 25 kg less weight makes it more agile, and the absence of covering on the fuselage makes it particularly resistant to lateral gusts. Excellent visibility, optimal comfort and functional design, completely stable inspection ability, together with a robust, resistant structure combine to render the Bobber particularly suitable for flights with floats or into the bush.
And this company is so cool that it knows it has a bad ass plane and that RC guys would want one so they offer that as well!!! In Two VERSIONS including an INDOOR MODEL! WELL DONE GUYS!!

Same passion, different size!
Not every project is born from the idea of furthering business prospects. Sometimes something is created simply because of the passion and pleasure to do so. This is basically what happened with the Bobber RC, born exclusively to realize a dream: the creation of a true miniature airplane. The concepts of the scale radio-controlled models and the methods used in their construction are well-recognized and tend to respect traditional parameters. Most often, starting from an existing aircraft, maintaining the original shape but using non-original materials, a scale radio-controlled model is produced that, though it looks similar or even identical to the plane from which it draws inspiration, does not literally reflect the materials and construction methods of the original. With the Savage Bobber RC we have tried to apply the same constructive techniques used in the original plane produced by us (our Savage Bobber), and we have used the same 4130 steel, 6061T6 aluminum, same covering and painting materials and processes, and same leather upholstery!
In so doing we have produced something that can satisfy the aficionado in a unique way.
The world of scale radio-controlled models certainly does not lack products; we’re well aware that in the vast world of model airplanes everything and more has already been produced and offered. However, a model of the Savage Bobber, constructed like the original, by the original producer and with the same aeronautical approach, is unique on the market.
A wide range of paint schemes are available upon request to further customize the airplane. The same concepts of bush flying have been also applied in this plane as in its older brother boosting an extended and reinforced landing gear with customer produced big size foam bushwheels bush wheels, making it not dependent on traditional well-prepared model airplane airfields.
The Bobber RC is offered at scale 1:3 and 1:2,5: this last one, still in the 25kg category, and boosting almost 4 meters wingspan, is really the model to have! It looks impressive, and flight qualities are even better than the smaller version thanks to a lower wing loading.
Wings can be detached easily, and even elevators fold for an easy transport.
Both models can be fitted with a wide range of motors but we deliver an engine mount for the Valach Motors VM 120 B2-4T, which has by the way a very distinctive old style look and is definitely a good match to the aircraft.
As we love to say, the Bobber RC is not a big rc model, but a small real airplane! If you have been in the look for something unique as your next project, then you have found it!

The smallest Savage ever built!
This little piece of technology and of outstanding craftmanship has been commisioned by Zlin Aviation to a German friend and famous rc modeller. The love and care, attention to detail, and overall quality of this product, is outstanding. It is not a mass produced toy, and customers will get something unique and built in very small quantities. The fuselage is built with little balsa rods, while all surfaces and the wings and produced with very thin foam. The aircraft boosts full three axes control, and also flaps like the real Bobber. Even the bushwheels, produced with a turning machine are also made of foam. The result is amazing, with an empty weight of just 125gr with engine, regulator and all servos! Just have a look at the video to see how it flyies! It is absolutely realistic and nice to see, as well as a ton of fun!
This little jewel is deliver already assembled and you just need a little receive, then you are ready to fly!
