Hi all,
For those that don't know me, my name is Ryan Smith. I'm 28 years old, and recently relocated back home to North Carolina after a four-year stint in Champaign where I used to work for Horizon as a product developer for E-flite, and later as a product marketing specialist for a short spell at JR Americas. Though I am no longer an employee, I am still very close to the manager, Len Sabato, as well as the sales manager Chris Sheppard and the team back in Japan. They are a great bunch of guys, and are working very hard to ensure the continued success and customer satisfaction of JR products is around for many years to come.
I have asked Sleepy to add this forum here, so I'm in a round about way running the show. I will do my best to answer questions as they come in, and monitor this forum on a regular basis. Feel free to shoot me a PM if your needs are more urgent. Understand that my involvement here is purely voluntary, and while I have accumulated a lot of experience with JR product over the course of my involvement with the hobby, this is simply an additional resource by which consumers may use to get help.
In addition to myself, we have several very knowledgeable and helpful Team JR members that frequent the forum here; Matt Balazs, Tony Russo, Brian Hendricks, David James, Victor Aponte, Albert Santiago, John Banks; and many more that float around on "other" sites that would be expected over here.
We're all happy to help give guidance on programming questions, equipment selection advice, and input on the "new" DMSS systems (even though they've been around for going on four years now), and the powerful XBus accessories.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope that we can make your hobby experience the most pleasurable possible.
Best regards,
Ryan
