What happens when your day job lands you in one of the sickest amazing work shops in the world? What happens when you bounce between building awesome scale models for Weimo and full size biplanes for Skip Stewart? Well from John's pics, you build the worlds most realistic model! I had the chance to meet John at Joe Nall a few years back and not only is he a talented guy, he's truly a gentleman as well.

I don;t have any ground breaking info to offer just a SICK photo flood, but from the pics you can see John making the full size parts, and TONS of model parts. Also notice in the middle that John doesn't trim his models with scissors, he just bolts them down and CNC's the trim. AWESOME!

i think everyone in the full scale biplane world was expecting something like this sooner or later but I wasn't paying close enough attention to know it's already happening!

They've been prototyping that for 2-3 years now. Somewhere there is a video of that room sized CNC carving out plugs. They had the RC version at Nall the last two years.....huge eye candy!!! Found the mfg. page, but looks like those vids are gone

well, i'll tell you what, if they think that they're going to get me to go to an airshow to see the full scale plane just because they've been parading around the RC version, they're probably right.
