LOL...yeah it's pretty old, but if it ain't broke don't fix it, that's my motto. If they came out with another touch screen model, I'd probably buy one.

That's not my only tx, I do have more modern tx's I use for my heli's.

Hmmmm...temping, but I can't even use up all the channels on the 16 channel(32 channels if I Sbus) tx I have. 28 channels is a bit overkill for me.

On XBus, you can run 4 servos per main ID, so assuming that all 28 channels are avaliable in the same way... that would be 112 servos. Lol, that's a lot of servos.

I will say that the XG11 and XG14 are extremely capable TX's as well. Intact, i'm running the XG11, and the programming is WAY beyond the 12x, and that is light years ahead of the 10X.

I'm running XBus on my XG11 in my Tomahawk Futura 2.5m Jet... runs 14-15 functions and is really a great system to manage power appropriately.

Just food for thought.

This does not look like a good deal as they are offering the trade in based on the list price of the dmss radio. I have a 9503 that is worth $200 in trade for an xg11 so my cost is $699 off the list price of $899. I can buy the radio from HH or my local hs for $799. So, sell your radio for $200 then buy the xg11 for $799 and you end cost is $599. Unless I am missing something, JR. America is not doing you a favor. Not counting they want $20 for handling

I'm not understanding your math... Here's the chart of what you would pay. Also, there are three different receiver options with the XG11 that effect pricing. Here's the chart below.

-The first option is with the RG1131B, which is the regular 11 channel receiver - it would be $599
-The second option is with the RG1131BPU, which is 11 channel power buss receiver with two deans plugs for the battey power and failsafe switch- it would be $669
-The third option is with te RG731bx, which is a 7 channel receiver but also has Xbus - it would be $569

Also, I don't understand the term "list price". My dad says this, and there is no such thing in the hobby industry. There is suggested retail, and there is MAP (Manufacturers Advertised Price)

These prices are off of MAP. MAP is what JR Americas charges via the online store.

You are correct in your reply. I was transposing the 2 xg11 radio features and coming up with the incorrect pricing structure. Thanks for the correction.

Hmm. Do I have to program all models all over, or is there some easy way to transfer models from my 12x? Thinking of buying the xg14.

alpha20, im not aware of a way to do that, but there may be. ryan and matt would know for sure. but nevertheless, the reprogramming of your model will be a small price to pay for all the features and feel that come with the xg14. ive never felt gimbals as smooth as the ones on the xg14.
